Belmont Park is 430-acre thoroughbred horse-racing track in Elmont operated by the non-profit group New York Racing Association (NYRA). It is considered on of the elite racetracks in horse-racing and has earned the name "The Championship Track" as most major champions in racing history have completed the racecourse since the park's opening in the early Summer of 1905. This includes each of the 11 Triple Crown Winners.

Belmont Park holds a capacity of 90,000 spectators, has on premise a restaurant, cafe and bar and multiple food courts including a picnic area and play areas for children. Belmont Park makes for an exciting visit for all ages at any of it's races, notably the Belmont Stakes, Jockey Club Gold Cup, Suburban Handicap and Metropolitan Handicap (also known as the Met Mile).
