The Bridgehampton Golf Club dates back to 1896. This 9-hole private golf course measure 2,846 yards from its longest tees. It is a par-35 layout with a rating of 67.8 and a slope of 122. An on-site teaching professional offers both private instructions and group lessons. Tee settings have been specifically arranged for men, women and youths. There are no water hazards, but there are carefully placed sand bunkers to avoid. Some of the fairways are tree-lined and the greens are fast with tricky breaks. Pull carts and clubs are available for rental. A golf cart is also available for handicapped players. New members must be invited to join. The dress code is more relaxed than at many other golf and country clubs. Members enjoy playing at Bridgehampton from late June until mid-September.
