The Brookhaven Volunteer Firefighers Museum was founded a non-profit organization to educate visitors on the history of volunteer firefighting through preservation of firefighting artifacts. Their mission is to exhibit the history and heritage of fire fighting through maintained pieces of vintage firefighting apparatus not only as a means of education but also a memorial to firefighters passed.
