Camp W Day camp "Where Friendships Are Made" , located in Melville, offers over seventy different, action-packed activities. Campers ages 4-14 participate in athletics, swimming, creative arts and many other unique activities such as Science Lab, Virtual Reality, Nerf Battlefield, Game Room, Cooking, Camp Lounge and so much more. Campers can choose their activities in the afternoon. 2–9-week sessions are available. Transportation, Early Care/Late Care, trips , snacks and hot lunch are all included in the tuition. Regular camp hours are from 8:30 am until 3:15 pm. Early Care begins at 7:30 and Late Care ends at 5:30 pm. Special Events such as Color War, Double Dare contest, professional camp entertainment and Scavenger Hunts, waterslides are weekly occurrences at camp. Groups average fifteen campers with at least two staff members to supervise the group. The small group size makes it easy to supervise and provides constant instruction to campers. This must be one of the best kept secrets of camp. The staff is beyond nurturing and caring, the communicate with me weekly and told me all the great friends my daughter was making. A true family environment. As a working mom the free early and late care helps out so much. The owner Evan Wofsy is a great guy who only wants whats best for kids. Not your typical day camp. It has so many unique elective activities your children can choose what THEY REALLY ENJOY!!! Not enough space for me to write all the great things about this camp including air conditioning on hot days. My daughter was so grateful that I found a place that stays cool on those hot summer days. This camp is so affordable I can take my kids on vacation and send them to camp. What a true hidden gem...So happy I found this place.

My children had a wonderful time at Camp W. They loved the counselors and felt very comfortable there. The camp carnival was incredible and everyday there was something special going on. The owner, Evan is very accommodating and really cares about the campers. Exactly the kind of place I want my children to spend their summer days.
