This 9-hole public golf course was designed by Russel Case and opened in 1964 on a mere 16 acres. It measures 1,120 yards and has a par value of 27, which is created by having all nine holes at par 3. The property’s three ponds create significant water hazards; additionally, trees and elevation can make the fairways more challenging than they might appear at first glance. Both men and ladies tee off from the same elevated tees. A practice bunker, chipping area and putting green come in handy for those who wish to brush up on their golfing skills. Pull carts and golf clubs can be rented. League play is popular here. Senior discounts are available. The dress code is a relaxed minimum of shirt and shoes. Convenience foods and alcohol-free beverages are available on-site. Cedars Golf Club is open April through November.
