Cherry Creek Golf links sits across the road from The Woods at Cherry Creek on the eastern end of Long Island. The original 18-hole private course was designed by Charles Jurgens and opened in 1996. It is a scenic, tree-lined layout with long and generous rolling fairways, winding doglegs and beauty everywhere. The course measures 7,187 yards from its longest tees and has a par value of 73, a slope of 128 and a rating of 73.7. The Woods, which opened in 2002, meanders through heavily forested terrain, giving it a very intimate and secluded feeling. Several holes overlook lovely ponds. It is a challenging course to play but an altogether enjoyable experience. This course offers the choice of four tees with varying distances of 5,160 yards to 6,565 yards and a par value of 71. The driving range, putting green and chipping area are also available to members. The full-service Pro shop offers custom club fitting while the on-site golf professional conducts private sessions, group packages and clinics. VIP memberships and discounts are available.
