With the exotic pet and animal industry booming, there are more chinchillas than ever that need homes - many people inpulse buy these pets not knowing their care needs, and get overwhelmed with the responsibility of pet ownership. Others surrender their chinchillas due to lifestyle changes, or because they can no longer handle the financial responsibility of owning a pet.

Chin Friends works to place these chinchillas in homes that are able to take on the responsibility of pet ownership, and have the time and dedication to provide a chinchilla with a happy and healthy life.
