The Copiague Chamber of Commerce is an alliance of dozens of local businesses, organizations, and residents dedicated to improving both the business environment and overall quality of life in Copiague. Members network both with each other and with other outside organizations to help grow the local economy and encourage residents to patronize their local businesses. The Chamber strives to foster a healthy community environment and to create economic success and stability for the region.

In addition to its work promoting Copiague's small businesses, the Chamber of Commerce is also responsible for organizing special community events. The annual tree lighting ceremony is a popular attraction every December, and the Community Shred-a-Thon is a popular way for residents to recycle old papers. Perhaps the most popular event the Chamber puts on is the annual Long Island Family Festival–a multi-day celebration complete with all kinds of fun attractions, live music, contests, giveaways, food, and carnival activities to send off the summer.
