This 18-hole private golf course was established in 2001 and designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore on a piece of former potato land owned by the Bristrian family. Actually, ground breaking took place in 1978, but the finished product, a beautiful layout that seamlessly blends into the rustic pastoral setting, required more than twenty years. The front nine holes favor a traditional links style that winds along to a tight, tree-lined back nine. The landscape is natural and undulating. Both men’s and women’s courses are included with ranges from 4,712 yards to 6,400 yards. The par value is 71 for all four courses. Walking is mandatory and caddies are on hand. An on-site golf school, full-length driving range, putting green and Proshop are available to members and their guests. Additionally, a 21,000 square foot clubhouse offers locker rooms for men and women, lounging areas and fine dining at the Grille Room.
