This impressive 930-acre park is even larger than Central Park and boasts not one but three excellent 18-hole golf courses, all of which are available to the public. The layout for the blue and white courses was designed in 1951 by Robert Trent Jones. The blue course measures 6,049 yards from the middle tees and plays from elevated greens. Identical par-3 holes lie side by side. The white course measures 6,932 yards from its championship tees to its elevated holes. Both courses have recently received renovations and upgrades. The red course was designed earlier by Devereux Emmet in 1914 and is considered the “crown jewel” of the trio of courses. It plays a longer 7,107 yards at a par value of 72. This layout crosses relatively flat terrain. Golf Digest has given Eisenhower Park a 4-star rating for great golfing opportunity at a reasonable price. PGA championships have been hosted here. The park, including the driving range, is open year-round. There is also an 18-hole miniature golf course right next to the Nassau County Aquatic Center.
