In 1950, with a dream and a truck with “NO” motor, the late Clell James Hall started Hall-Lane Moving & Storage. He would tow the truck with his car to his customer’s homes. After they had the truck loaded, Clell would pretend he was having engine trouble and would tell his customers to go ahead and he would meet them at their new home. Clell did this for 2 months until he was able to save enough money to buy a motor.
Clell was determined to make his business a success and provide great service no matter what obstacles lie in his path. This determination lives on at Hall Lane Moving and Storage 70 years later. Today the company is owned and run by Clell’s two son’s John & Alan Hall and was recently voted “Best Moving Company on Long Island” by our past customers.

These guys are amazing movers. They did a great job getting everything moved quickly and safely. Nothing broke in the move or went missing.

Wish we had picked another company. The movers were slow, took lots of smoking breaks, and stretched out the job by a few hours. The salesperson underestimated our job by a lot (I guess to get our business) and once I called to complain they got really rude and nasty and said it wasn't their problem.

After doing some research we decided to use these guys for our storage facility instead of Public Storage or one of the other big companies. The service here has been very personal and friendly, and all our questions were answered immediately when we showed up to get our unit. The unit itself is clean, reasonably big for the price, and easy to access.
