Also known simply as Willow Creek Golf and Country Club, this 18-hole public golf course was designed by Stephen Kay and opened for play in 2005. The new and impressive design offers a total of four courses that range from 5,013 yards to 6,611 yards. The par-71 layout is a combination of wildly undulating, super-fast greens; a generous assortment of bunkers and water hazards; and constantly changing elevations. Golfers will be challenged by the rises, drops, treacherous twists and unexpected turns of almost every surface. The landing areas are broad. Two holes have been spotlighted by Newsday and Golfing Magazine for their uniqueness. Excellent attention to landscaping and grounds maintenance has resulted in a stunningly beautiful course that is both a pleasure to play and a test to golfing skills. Willow Creek is open from dawn to dusk daily, weather permitting.
