The Huntington Schools Heritage Museum had small begging when it was established in the Winter of 1985 with only eight cartons of assorted memorabilia but has expanding to include thousands of relics, photos, documents and pieces of the Huntington public school's lore. Through items such as school illustrations drawn in 1794, turn of the century science equipment, gymnasium benches, building plaques, a 1920's era drinking fountain, and the original bell used to signal class sessions, visitors will witness the transformation of the town's public school from what it once was into it's modern day institution.
