This private, village-owned 18-hole course was first designed by Mark DeVries in 1936. Constructed on mostly flat terrain, it has lovely, tree-lined fairways, several strategically placed sand bunkers, water hazards on 10 holes and scenic views throughout the course. The course is challenging but well-built and fair. Distance varies from 5,439 yards to 6,438 yards with a par value of 70, a rating of 72 and a slope of 129. Lawrence Country Club is known for its friendly family atmosphere. It offers 10 indoor and 10 outdoor stalls at its driving range, rental equipment, an on-site pro teacher and food services at the clubhouse. “Mezza on the Green” catering services special events inside in the elegant ballroom or outside on the lovely grounds. This golf course is open from March through December.
