Léman Manhattan is an international learning community that fosters independent, critical thinking for students from early childhood through 12th grade. Situated in New York’s Financial District, the fastest growing residential neighborhood in the city, we have approximately 500 students and a student to teacher ratio of 6:1. Through an internationally focused curriculum, Léman prepares students to become engaged citizens of the world. We are an International Baccalaureate Programme World School, and are one of only three schools in Manhattan offering the IB Diploma. Students at Léman reach their full potential through personalized instruction that addresses each student’s unique learning style and needs. Each student has a Personal Learning Plan (PLP), which is an individually tailored plan focused on achieving unsurpassed student learning and personal growth. A Léman education equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make thoughtful and informed choices. When students graduate from Léman they will be prepared to succeed at their top-choice of college and throughout life.
