Lido Beach is one of the top beaches on Long Island, perfect for children, parents, seniors and everyone in between! Lido Beach offers a large picnic and barbeque, great area for summer parties or any other type of large gathering, with long picnic tables shaded by canopies and live entertainment. Every weekday afternoon holds live concerts in a tent near the parking lot. Lido Beach has bocce and shuffleboard, basketball and volleyball courts and even handball courts. For children there are spray pools, storytelling programs and arts and crafts lessons. Carts are available for beach goers to tote their coolers and chairs down to the sandy beach shores.

Fishing is allowed in the early hours of the day, and special body boarding areas have been designated on the beach. Surfing is not permitted on Lido Beach but surfers may travel west to Lido West where it is allowed.
