The Lloyd Harbor Historical Society was founded in 1974 and is dedicated to preserving the early history of the Lloyd Harbor and Lloyd Neck communities with its main focus being on the restoration of the Hanry Lloyd Manor House building in the early 18th century. The Historical Society also aims to maintain the George Weir Barn and surrounding gardens and grounds. They also hold annual holiday events for families to enjoy.
