One of the first 100 U.S. golf courses, this 18-hole private facility was designed in 1881 by Dick Wilson and sold to the Meadow Brook Club in the 1950s. Its unique architecture flows seamlessly with the natural land contours for a beautiful and challenging experience. The PGA has played here in past years. The greens are very large, quick and undulating while the fairways vary in width from narrow to wide. There are both water hazards and bunkers in strategic locations. The overall flatness of the terrain makes this course an easy one to walk. The total distance from the longest tees is 7,101 yards. The par value is 72 with a rating of 74.6 and a slope of 137.
