Established in 1985, Men On The Move began serving the Long Island and NYC regions as a small company with only one truck and a few men. Through our modo, “The great job you do today creates the job you do tomorrow”, we have grown by providing the best service we can.
After years of serving the region, building a trusting customer base and a well-known brand, we realized our ability to give back to the community by donating trucks and men to various causes and relief efforts. One of our better known relationships is with Autism Speaks, which logo is proudly displayed on every one of our trucks.
In 1999 we ran into an opportunity to build a self-storage facility just underneath our moving headquarters. This proved to be one of the greatest decisions we ever made, and the moving business helped grow the self-storage facility over the years. Through that process, we learned a lot about the self-storage industry, and began to apply that education to our facility.
Today we’ve built 10 different self-storage facilities and run 26 trucks through our moving company. It is with the culture of service and the experience we’ve gained that we are able to provide you with the highest level of service in the industry.
