Nominated as one of America’s best classic courses, this 18-hole private golf course was created by C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor in 1914 in a lovely area of quiet woodlands and incredible harbor views. In 2009, NY real estate developer, Donald Zucker, purchased the facility and has protected that special, old-world feeling that members cherish. The course itself is 6,515 yards from the longest tees. It has a par value of 72 with a slope of 134 and a rating of 72.4. A challenging and diverse layout includes bunkers, undulating greens and spacious but steep fairways. Golfers may choose difficult or easier approaches throughout the game. North Shore offers its own brand of sophisticated country amid the gently rolling hills and quiet woodland through which this course meanders.
