The Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center is the former home and studio of abstract expressionist painters Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. The home itself is a typical 19th century farmers house and still contains the furnishings and artifacts in the home at the time of Krasner's death in 1984. In the late 1980s restoration began on the studio and was opened to the public nearly a decade later as a historic site with a research facility with a heavy emphasis on modern arts.
