This 9-hole public golf course was designed by Alfred H. Tull in 1962. It is jointly owned by the towns of Easthampton and Southampton. Considered by many to be a true “diamond in the rough,” this little course may be short in length, but it is great for iron play and polishing one’s short game. The layout measures 1,583 yards and has a par of 30, a rating of 28.2 and a slope of 88. An excellent quality teaching facility that accepts both scheduled lessons and walk-ins is another plus for the center. Clinics and junior camps offer further opportunities to learn to play the game skillfully. In addition, the property has its own driving range, putting green, practice bunker, rental equipment and food and beverage services. Residents receive a discount on the daily fee policy. The center is open seven days a week during the golfing season.
