Originally I thought maybe the name "Rare" referred to rare steak (and they do prepare it perfectly), but now I think maybe it has a double meaning. It is RARE you find a restaurant this wonderful! They truly are a gem.

Rare is one of the best known restaurants around. Several of my co-workers took me here for a congratulatory dinner when I got a promotion, and I immediately loved the atmosphere when we stepped inside. They were kind enough to treat me to the filet mignon. I ordered it rare and it arrived red, juicy, and dripping with delicious! One of the finer steaks I've enjoyed in my lifetime, and I'm a connoisseur. This place lives up to its reputation, and its name.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner here the other week. It was our first time to Rare, and we had high expectations given all the good things we'd heard. She had sushi and I had steak, and I couldn't decide which was more excellent. The service here is exceptional, a match for the great cuisine.
