This 18-hole private golf course was designed by Devereux Emmet in 1925. Although short in length, it is considered to be one of the premier golfing facilities on the South Shore of Long Island. The terrain is generally flat and easy to walk, but some holes can be particularly challenging. Tree-lined fairways are inviting and carefully placed grass and sand bunkers increase the complexity and interest level. The actual course measures 6,257 yards from its longest tees and has a par of 72. In addition to taking lessons from the in-house pro, members may use their irons on the driving range, buy from the Pro shop, rent both equipment and caddy services, and enjoy the full bar, snack bar or excellent restaurant. Catering for wedding and special occasions is available on-site. Although the club has a private membership, it has a reciprocal guest policy in place with neighboring golf associations.
