This 18-hole public golf course was opened in 1961 and recently renovated at a cost of $2.2 million. The course is 4,715 yards long with a par value of 65. There are two par-5 doglegs, several water hazards and nine par-3 holes. Uneven terrain creates tricky lies. The many trees not only help shape the course but also add to the challenge of playing each hole successfully. The fairways are narrow and well-bunkered and the greens are fast and elevated. Players of all skill levels will enjoy this course. Equipment rentals, a full-service Pro shop, practice areas, a beverage cart, full bar, snack bar and restaurant are also available. Walking is allowed. Reasonable prices make this facility a good deal for the money. Credit cards are accepted.
