Sandspit Park Beach and Marina in Patchogue spreads over 200 feet of sandy beach on the shores of the Great South Bay. Sandspit is dotted with benches for visitors to sit and soak in the beautiful views of the Long Island Bay. The fenced in playground make for a safe play area for children and a fishing pier is located in the marina in the southeast section of the park. 
 
Sandspit is home to the private river-front restaurant On the Waterfront and the Davis Park Ferry terminal.
