Shark and Fishing Camp is a 5-day sleep-away camp for 8th-12th grade youth.  At this sleep-away camp, your kids get top-notch Marine Biology field training by world-renown shark biologist and Discovery Channel Shark Week Star, Dr. Craig O’Connell.  Each week, campers will catch, measure, and tag sharks along Long Island’s Southern Coast aboard the 33’ World Cat research vessel. In addition, campers will participate in new ground-breaking shark research, fish for shark bait, learn valuable GPS and boat navigation/handling skills, learn about local aquatic and avian wildlife, photograph humpback whales, and to top it all off, swim with sharks at the Long Island Aquarium.  At the end of this all-inclusive camp experience, campers will be given photographs and videos of their adventures and will leave with a new respect and knowledge for our beautiful ocean.
