The Smithtown Township Arts Council knows that the arts are vital to the human spirit and encourages citizens to celebrate and participate in the arts. The Arts Council offers a wide variety of programs for families and children throughout the year. The Mills Pond House is a community hub of cultural activity with it's changing art exhibits and classes to bestow instruction and exposure to the visual, performing and literary arts.
