The Suffolk County Archaeological Association is a non-profit organization that offers educational classes, programs, materials and film to promote the understanding of Long Island's history and archeology, both historic and prehistoric. A large variety of classes are offered in Smithtown and Commack that include cooking, carpentry, textile making, ethnobotany walk, and archeological site excavation.
