Founded by the Jurgens family more than 30 years ago, this 18-hole public golf course was designed by Charles K. Martin. Golfers may choose from four different tees ranging in distance from 5,264 yards to 7,035 yards. The rating varies from 67.4 to 73.7 for difficulty. The layout is surrounded by the picturesque Pine Barrens with its lakes, natural preserves and cranberry bogs. Both beginners and advanced golfers will find the course interesting and challenging. Strategically placed bunkers dot the fairways and there are water hazards on nine holes. The greens are generally oversized. Its relatively flat terrain makes this an enjoyable course to walk. The club features a full bar, snack bar and restaurant. The “Eagle’s Nest Bar and Grille” also offers catering services. A Twilight discount is available for those who are able to play later in the day. There is no dress code.
