The Long Island Museum is Long Island’s largest privately supported museums and has a collection containing more than 40,000 items dating back from the late 18th century to present day including over 200 historic carriages. The Art House offers changing exhibitions that bring to life the history and art of Long Island. The Collection contains more than 4,000 pieces and boasts the largest collection of works by renowned artist and Stony Brook resident, William Sidney Mount.
