The Webb Institute of Naval Architecture was founded in 1889 in the Bronx, and relocated to Glen Cove in 1945 having outgrown the original campus. This small, distinguished school offers a unique double-major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and its small size allows for a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
