Special Weather Statement issued December 21 at 4:57AM EST by NWS Upton NY Light snow continues through this morning, tapering off and ending midday into the early afternoon. Total accumulations of 1/2 to 1 inch are possible, with isolated amounts up to 1 1/2 inch. Untreated roadways may become snow covered this morning. Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution traveling.
