Refinishing Furniture DIY?
Refinishing Furniture DIY?
21 Sep, 2012 11:02 a.m.
I have a couple of old pieces of furniture I inherited from my grandparents that I am thinking of refinishing. I have a vague idea of what I want...just not sure what kind of preparation I need to do to them first. The simplest thing would be to paint them, I think... and I could really have fun picking bright colors to use~!
Have any of you guys ever tackled this kind of project before? What do I need to do the existing piece before I paint it? Any particular kind of paint that you would recommend? Tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So much fun!... My first refinished piece I did almost 20 years ago. It was a lot of work, but well worth the end result. Here are some great tips on refinishing like a pro...check it out.
