Here is one of the MOST IMPORTANT things one can do - LONG ISLAND needs a HERO, a champion - NO ONE listens to we, the little people - We can only control our selves - RESCUERS need public outrage - Rescuers need everyone to do ONE TINY thing - - - - - - pick what you want & then HELP - instead of presents this HOLIDAY season HELP an animal in need - GO TO A LOCAL SHELTER & WALK a shelter pet. It doesn't cost a thing, but a little compassion. How can anyone be too busy at dance lessons, little league or Karate? Teach children what LOVE & compassion is, so they don't grow up like the losers who HURT animals & people - If you know how do you walk away? How do you ignore the suffering? Seems like there are an awful lot who do - instead of VACATION, VOLUNTEER. It's way more rewarding -
