Sales & Marketing (AD/Media Sales)
We seek experienced & dynamic go-getter to be a part of our "Media Sales & Marketing" team. The ideal candidate must have existing relationships with media buyers, media planners and advertising clients (Long Island-based). You will set aggressive revenue targets and ensure that they are achieved.
Responsibility:
- Plan & execute our media sales & marketing strategy
- Ensure continuous, proactive & positive communications with clients, sales and creative agencies
- Deliver appropriate forecasts & meet OR exceed the sales target.
- Influence the executive team on strategy and tactical operations as the organization continues to develop and expand its business model.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills (Preferred):
- 2+ Years of experience, preferably in a reputed newspaper, business directory, magazine OR dotcom
- Proven ability to manage and drive complex sales cycles to a successful close.
- Must have existing relationships with media buyers, media planners and advertising clients
- Fluency with media-buying terminology (eg, CPM v. CPA, reach v. frequency, GIF v. Flash)
- Desire to work in a start-up environment.
- Familiarity with Web 2.0 and social media a plus
