Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined members of the Merrick community on Sunday, Dec. 15 for an annual visit to the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island to deliver donations to the facility during the holiday season.

Located just steps away from Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, the Ronald McDonald House is a 24-hour home-away-from home for families caring for their sick or injured children. It includes 42 bedrooms, laundry rooms, fully stocked kitchens, lounge areas, a media room, gym, and more.

“By providing comfortable respite spaces, the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island fosters a nurturing atmosphere that helps families care for themselves so they can take care of their children as they fight to overcome tremendous challenges,” Legislator Koslow said. “My family and I are grateful to be a part of a community that demonstrates such kindness and generosity in support of this important cause.”
