Lindenhurst, NY - January 4, 2017 - “Yesterday, Governor Cuomo unveiled a plan to provide free college tuition to thousands of middle- and low- income students here on Long Island and across the state. Affordable tuition is something that I’ve been fighting to pass – New York must reaffirm its commitment to ensuring every individual has the opportunity to pursue a college education. Income should not be a barrier to education and future success.”
“As we begin the next legislative session, I will continue fighting to make higher education more affordable so that more New York students can get ahead.”
