A note that appeared on its website announced that Country Fair Entertainment Park at 3351 Route 112 in Medford has closed for good. No reason was given for the sudden closure, only that 2023 was to be their last season after 23 years in business.

“After 23 years its current iteration and a history that spans from the 1970s, the Country Fair Entertainment Park is sad to say its last season came to an end in October 2023,” the note read. “We thank you for your patronage over the years.”

The sprawling property featured go-karts, batting cages, bumper cars, a driving range, mini-golf and an arcade and was a favorite family fun spot.

The property had been listed on commercial real estate website loopnet.com saying the 24-acre parcel was for sale but no longer listed.

“24 acre level, rectangular site that was the Country Fair Entertainment Park for approximately 20 years,” the listing described the site.

Features of the property include, large enough to accommodate an on-site sewage treatment plant and ownership invested approximately $10,000,000 in 2013 on the well-constructed restaurant/office structure located on the front portion of the property.

It was not clear as of the writing of this article if the property was sold or not.

We will follow up when more information becomes available.
