Shirley, NY - January 5, 2014 - Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota today announced the indictment of a Shirley man on multiple charges involving criminal sex acts with a minor.
DA Spota said Sean Coraggio, 22, will be arraigned on the indictment tomorrow, Tuesday, December 30, in Riverhead before Judge Steven Braslow.
Suffolk County Emergency Services officers, Fourth Squad detectives, Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers and Computer Crimes Section detectives executed a search warrant at Coraggio’s Forrest Avenue home on December 23.
According to police, Coraggio has worked as a security guard in the William Floyd School District. The defendant is incarcerated in the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $60 thousand dollars bail or $120 thousand dollars bond.
He is charged with Criminal Sex Acts with a Minor, Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less than 17 years old.
