Arrest Made in Connection to Three Business Robberies in Holbrook

Holbrook, NY - January 5, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have arrested a man who robbed three Holbrook businesses in October.

Daniel Noheyl, 26, of Holbrook, was arrested by Major Case detectives after an investigation revealed that Noheyl was responsible for three robberies that occurred in Holbrook in October. 

On October 17, 2016, Noheyl robbed a Subway, located at 600-7 Portion Road. On October 28, Noheyl robbed Yoga Mania, located at 315‎ H Main St. On October 31 Noheyl, armed with a knife, robbed 50% Cards and Gifts, located at 960 Main Street. In all three incidents, Noheyl, threatened cashiers and demanded money. The employees complied with the demands on each incident.

Major Case detectives charged Noheyl with one count of Robbery 1st Degree and two counts of Robbery 3rd Degree.

Noheyl, who was arrested at his home on January 4 at approximately 7:40 p.m., will be held at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 5.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
