Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) recently announced that he will host a blood drive in partnership with the New York Blood Center (NYBC) on Thursday, Jan. 11 at Gold Coast Library. The drive will go from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and each donor will receive one voucher redeemable for two complimentary tickets to a select 2024 New York Islanders regular season home game at UBS Arena. Blumencranz hopes residents will come out to donate and make a difference in our community.

“Donating blood is one of the easiest ways to make a lasting impact on those in need,” said Blumencranz. “New York has seen a shortage in banked blood for patients over the past few years and drives like this can help us turn the tide. I hope residents of the 15th Assembly District will come out to Gold Coast Library on Jan. 11 to help save lives.”
