Mastic Beach, NY - January 6, 2016 - TJ’s Hero Shop has been the go to eatery for some of the best sandwiches on Long Island for over 20 years. The first location opened in Mastic Beach in 1991 and there are now several locations throughout Suffolk County. On Tuesday, January 5, 2016 owner Michael Moore was joined by Legislator Kate Browning (WF-Shirley) and other elected officials to cut the ribbon for the brand new location that was built to host TJ’s new shop at 328 Mastic Road in Mastic Beach.
“TJ’s Hero Shop has been a staple of the community for decades, and because of their great success the need for a larger location with ample parking is necessary,” stated Legislator Kate Browning. “The new building is beautiful and will be an economic driver for Mastic Beach Village. I really believe this can help attract more businesses to the area. I wish TJ’s the best of luck and look forward to eating their sandwiches for years to come.”
