Long Island Authors and Writers Society Presents Writers Workshop with Award Winning Author Brian Heinz
Bay Shore, NY - January 8, 2016 - LIAWS (Long Island Authors and Writers Society) will present a dynamic writing class for all levels of writers including those with an interest in getting started in the craft of writing. The 90-minute lecture given by writing consultant and multi-award winning Children's Author Brian J. Heinz takes place Tuesday January 19, 2016 7:00 PM at Barnes & Noble in Bayshore, NY.
After a career in the classroom, Brian J. Heinz, now teaches writing at Hofstra University. He is a popular presenter on the craft of writing at schools and professional conferences, and he has keynoted and led workshops at both regional and national conferences.
Brian Heinz is a critically acclaimed writer of fiction and non-fiction, in both prose and verse. His award-winning picture books include The Monsters' Test, The Wolves, Nanuk: Lord of the Ice, Butternut Hollow Pond, and Cheyenne Medicine Hat.
