Broadway Market in Rocky Point announced on their Facebook page on Friday, January 6 that they are permanently closing their doors for business, with the owners of the restaurant citing the effects of inflation and a lack of workers among the reasons.

“With heavy hearts we have made the most difficult decision to permanently close Broadway Market.  There are multiple factors involved such as the astronomical costs of goods, staffing challenges and uncertain times,” the post said. “We can’t thank you, our valued customers & our dedicated staff, enough for the wonderful journey the last four and a half years has given us. We have been honored to be part of your everyday and special occasions.”

The post concluded, saying that the restaurant could return at the same location in the future, albeit in a different form.

“We are considering the many options available to reimagine this beautiful space in the future, so please keep following!” the owner said. “In the meantime, please contact us for Catering, Custom Cakes, and your Private Event Space needs.”

Located at 643 Broadway, Broadway Market offered brunch, bakery items, and coffee.
