Levittown, NY - January 10th, 2014 - The Second Squad reports the details of an arrest for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on January 10, 2014 at 4:30 AM in Levittown.
According to detectives, 911 received a call for a male shooting a gun into the air in the vicinity of Twig Lane and Newbridge Road. While responding to the area, Second Precinct officers observed a male walking away from the area that fit the description of the subject. After an investigation Michael Collier, 29, of 120 Twig Lane, Levittown was placed under arrest without incident. A .45 caliber handgun was found in his possession.
Collier is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on January 11, 2014 at First District Court, Hempstead.
