UPDATE: Police Find 21-Year-Old Man with Multiple Stab Wounds at Entrance Ramp of the Southern State Parkway, Investigation Continues

Update - January 17, 2017 - The victim from the stabbing on the Southern State Parkway on January 11th, has died as a result of his injuries.  Sumeet Singh, age 21, of Franklin Square, NY, succumbed to his injuries while being treated at Winthrop Hospital in Mineola.

Update - January 12, 2017 - The New York State Police have a suspect in custody regarding the stabbing victim found on the Southern State Parkway entrance ramp at exit 15 last night.  The defendant, Camari Hurley, age 23, of Franklin Square, NY, has been arrested and is being charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree(Class A Felony) and Assault 1st Degree(Class B Felony).

Long Island, NY - January 12, 2017 - The New York State Police, Troop L, is currently investigating an Attempted Murder 2nd/Assault 1st.  On Wednesday, January 11th, 2017, at approximately 9:20 PM, a 21-year-old man was found on the Southern State Parkway, Corona Avenue (exit 15) westbound entrance ramp, with multiple stab wounds.  The man was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.  State Police do have one suspect in custody and the investigation is currently under investigation.  State Police are being assisted by the Nassau County Police Department.
