On January 12th, 2025, Nassau County Comptroller Elaine Phillips joined The Nicholas Center Co-Founder & Executive Director Stella Spanakos, her team and the visual arts center at Art Guild in Port Washington, for their 2nd Annual “Art on The Spectrum” art show.
The Exhibit, which will be on display through the end of January features paintings, photography and 3-D Art, and it teaches different art elements and famous art and artists while supporting diversity and inclusion in the Arts. Approximately 120 students participate in the art program, and more than 200 art pieces are on display at the exhibit.
About The Nicholas Center: The Nicholas Center (TNC) was founded in 2011 by 3 Co-Founders – Stella L. Spanakos, Nicole Ferrara and Patrick Bardsley. Today, the Nicholas Center offers 12 months of continuous service per year in 2 NY State locations (having expanded to Westchester in 2021). Their mission is to create innovative programs and services that allow Autistic individuals to learn, live and work in the community.
