2017 Catering Opportunity for Belmont Lake, Heckscher, Hempstead Lake & Valley Stream State Parks

Babylon, NY - January 18, 2017 - New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation – Long Island Region, is accepting applications for catering opportunities at Belmont Lake, Heckscher, Hempstead Lake and Valley Stream State Parks throughout the 2017 calendar year.

There is a flat annual fee of $250.00. This fee covers all four (4) parks.

All completed applications, required documents and payments are due to State Parks, postmarked no later than February 15, 2017.

Upon approval, your company will be added to a list of “Approved Caterers” for these facilities. This list will be provided to anyone who requests catering information for Belmont Lake, Heckscher, Hempstead Lake or Valley Stream State Parks.

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation oversees 180 state parks and 35 historic sites, which are visited by 65 million people annually. A recent study found that New York State Parks generates $1.9 billion in economic activity annually and supports 20,000 jobs.
