SCPD Seeking Shoplifter Chased Out of Huntington Station Department Store by Security

A man stole assorted clothing from Macy’s on January 2; he fled the scene when confronted by security, officials report.

SCPD are seeking the man who stole from a store in Huntington Station earlier this month.

Huntington Station, NY - January 18, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole from a store in Huntington Station earlier this month.
 
A man stole assorted clothing from Macy’s, located at 160 Walt Whitman Road, on January 2 at approximately 7 p.m. The man, who was described as a black wearing a baseball hat and hooded jacket, hid the merchandise in a shopping bag and fled the scene when confronted by security. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
